Microsoft Edge is shaking the throne! It has reached its highest user count of all time
Once not among the most popular browsers, Edge has reached its highest user count of all time and climbed to second place, according to a new report.
Microsoft Edge, which was not in the top three among internet browsers, has reached its highest user count of all time and moved into second place, according to the latest report.
While it may not be entirely accurate to say that Microsoft Edge is leading in popularity rankings, the newly released report reveals that the browser has reached the highest user count in its history. Although there are occasional changes in the rankings among popular browsers, where Google Chrome has long held the lead, Microsoft Edge still has not fully reached its desired user base. The list also includes alternatives such as Mozilla Firefox and Safari.
According to Statcounter's report on the latest changes in desktop and mobile browser markets for January, Google Chrome is the most used browser with 64.84 percent, followed by Microsoft Edge with 12.96 percent. Safari follows with 8.83 percent, Mozilla Firefox with 7.57 percent, and Opera with a 3.23 percent share.
Furthermore, according to the report covering the most used mobile browsers, Google Chrome is in first place, Safari is in second, Samsung Internet is in third, Opera is in fourth, and UC Browser is in fifth place.
