New button coming to WhatsApp

As one of the most widely used messaging applications worldwide, WhatsApp is working on a feature that will simplify the process for users to log out of the app. While logging out on mobile devices is often a cumbersome process, the newly tested feature will allow this to be done in a few simple steps.

The "Log Out" button, discovered in WhatsApp's beta version 2.25.17.37, allows users to log out of the application without deleting their account data or personal settings. This innovation provides great convenience, especially for those who do not want to use the application for a short time or who have to share their phones with others.

Currently, Android users must clear application data to log out, or iOS users must completely uninstall the app. However, the log-out button, which has long been available on WhatsApp Web and desktop applications, makes this process quite practical. With the new mobile log-out feature, similar convenience will now be offered on mobile phones as well.

Located just below the "Delete Account" option in the user settings menu in the beta version, this button offers two different options: The first resets the application by deleting all data and settings, while the second allows for logging out while preserving data and settings. Thus, when users log back into the application, they can continue their chat history and preferences right where they left off.

RELEASE DATE FOR THE NEW FEATURE IS UNCERTAIN

This new log-out feature is still in the development stage, and it is not yet certain when it will be released to all users. Furthermore, it is not yet clear whether it will be activated simultaneously on both Android and iOS platforms. However, it is clear that this innovation is part of WhatsApp's vision of developing user-friendly applications.
