A new feature is coming to WhatsApp Web. The chat lock feature, which allows users to secure their private conversations, will now also be available on the web application.
Currently in the development stage, this feature will be offered to users with an upcoming update. This step adds another to WhatsApp's privacy-focused innovations. WhatsApp is also working on a new interface to provide a modern and visually appealing experience.
This new interface, which includes a color scheme specifically chosen for the dark theme and tabs for better navigation, includes a feature that allows users to lock their chats, even though it is still in the development stage.
With the new feature being developed, locked chats are expected to offer users more privacy and security through a special tab. WhatsApp Web users will now be able to use this feature to avoid showing personal data or messages they wish to hide to people they do not want to see them.
