New feature for Instagram Stories

Instagram, which ranks among the world's largest social media platforms with over 2.5 billion users, is constantly introducing new features to improve the user experience. Innovations added to the popular "Story" section are also well-received by users.

Now, it has emerged that the platform plans to bring a significant innovation to stories. Instagram will soon allow profile sharing in stories.

Profiles will appear in detail in stories

The new feature was spotted by Alessandro Paluzzi, known for his posts about mobile applications. In a post on X, Paluzzi revealed that users will soon be able to share others' profiles from their stories.

The feature will work in a similar way to the "Add to your story" function. Looking at the screenshot, we can see that profiles can be displayed directly in the story in a detailed manner. Some photos and the biography section will be visible from there. Additionally, a new "View Profile" button will be added. This way, it will be possible to easily access the profile of the person in the story.

Instagram is currently testing its new feature. It is not yet clear when it will be released for widespread use.
