It is alleged that Apple is preparing to launch a new device acquisition and financing program in the US called "Apple Upgrade." According to information reported by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, the program is planned to be launched on Tuesday, July 28.

According to the claim, the new system will allow users to acquire Apple products with long-term payment options, outside of the classic purchase model. Within the scope of the program, a 24-month financing option will be offered for iPhone and Apple Watch models, and a 36-month financing option for iPad and Mac models.

It is stated that customers participating in Apple Upgrade will be able to pay off the remaining debt on the device early or switch to a newer device early while the payment period is still ongoing. At the end of the payment period, options such as keeping the device or returning it will be available.

The report also stated that some models will be excluded from the program. It was claimed that the Apple Watch SE, entry-level iPad, iPhone 16, and MacBook Neo will not be included in the new financing option.

Among the claims is that Apple plans to stop accepting new users into the existing iPhone Upgrade Program after launching the new program. No official statement has been made by the company regarding the matter.
