New sales platform from Samsung for second-hand Galaxy phones!

OLD DEVICES WILL BE SOLD IN A PRACTICAL WAY

The program, which will be launched in South Korea on January 14, 2025, offers Galaxy device owners the opportunity to have their phones evaluated and sell them to Samsung. Users can find out the estimated value of the device they are considering selling through Samsung's website.

When users send their devices to Samsung by courier, their phones are examined and classified into three categories: 'Excellent', 'Good', and 'Recycle'. The appropriate compensation amount determined as a result of the inspection is then offered to the user.

Samsung announced that it plans to expand the program to other countries outside of South Korea, but did not provide information on which countries it would be implemented in. If the program becomes widespread globally, it aims to make it easier for users to evaluate their second-hand devices and go through the sales process.
