Apple is offering significant new features and security improvements to iPhone users with the iOS 18.5 update. Released on May 12, this update includes notable features specifically for the iPhone 13 series. As Apple prepares to introduce iOS 19 at the WWDC event to be held in June, it continues to make improvements to the current iOS version.
iOS 18.5 allows iPhone 13 users to communicate via satellite in areas with weak signals. While this feature is currently only active in the US, it may become available in other regions in the future.
Other new features included in the update are the "Pride Harmony" wallpaper, screen time passcode notifications for parental controls, and the "Buy with iPhone" option on Apple TV. Additionally, the black screen error in the Apple Vision Pro app has been fixed.
HOW TO UPDATE?
Users who wish to install the update can download and install iOS 18.5 by following the path Settings > General > Software Update on their iPhones. Since the update size is large, it is recommended to have a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection.
With this update, Apple aims to make users' devices more secure. iOS 18.5 increases device performance by both offering new features and closing security vulnerabilities. It is of great importance for users to install this update as soon as possible for the security and performance of their devices.
