Nintendo Switch 2 to arrive with an 8-inch LCD screen

New information regarding the Nintendo Switch 2 has come to light. According to analyst Hiroshi Hayase, the device is planned to be released within this year as expected and will feature a larger screen.

Although its popularity in Turkey may not be as high as other consoles, the Nintendo Switch, which ranks at the top globally, met with users in 2017. However, after 7 years, the question of when the new Switch would arrive and what features it would have remained a subject of curiosity.

A report shared today was relayed by Bloomberg and is based on the statements of analyst Hiroshi Hayase. According to this report, the Nintendo Switch 2 is expected to be released in 2024, which confirms the rumors circulating in recent months.

According to the report, significant changes are expected regarding the screen. One of these changes is the screen size, as according to Hayase, the new console will have an 8-inch screen. The original console's screen size was 6.2 inches, while the OLED version released in 2021 featured a 7-inch screen.

According to previously leaked specifications, the device will use an NVIDIA Tegra T239 processor, and features such as 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 64 GB of storage, DLSS 2 support, and longer battery life are also among the claims.
