Notable post from NATO regarding Turkey
NATO JFC Brunssum shared the ANKA III, developed by TUSAŞ, as an example of the alliance's vision for new capabilities and expanding defense production.
NATO Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS) made a notable post regarding the next-generation unmanned combat aerial vehicle ANKA III, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ).
In the statement made on the command's official social media account, the ANKA III was evaluated as one of the examples of the "NATO 3.0" approach in the field. The post stated that in line with the decisions taken at the NATO Ankara Summit, European allies and Canada are coming to the fore with new capabilities and assuming more responsibility for collective security.

The statement emphasized that allied defense industry production is expanding, using the following expressions: "NATO 3.0 in practice: The next-generation stealth Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) ANKA III, developed by TUSAŞ." The post also noted that this process means a "stronger Alliance than ever before."
KEY FEATURES OF ANKA III
The TUSAŞ-signed ANKA III was developed as a tailless, jet-powered stealth unmanned combat aerial vehicle with a "flying wing" aerodynamic structure. Standing out with its design aimed at reducing radar visibility, the platform can carry its munitions in internal bays to maintain its low radar cross-section.
It is stated that the ANKA III has a maximum takeoff weight of approximately 7 tons, with a payload capacity of 1,200 kilograms. It is reported that the aircraft can reach a maximum speed of 0.7 Mach, or approximately 800 kilometers per hour; can operate at a service ceiling of 40,000 feet; and can remain in the air for up to 10 hours.
Planned to be used in reconnaissance, surveillance, electronic warfare, deep strike, and precision strike missions thanks to its low radar signature, the ANKA III is reported to have the capacity to carry domestic guided munitions such as the SOM-J cruise missile, TOLUN, HGK, and LGK.
