Price hike wave at Epic Games! Game prices have soared

Epic Games has joined the recent wave of price hikes, increasing the prices of its popular games. Due to the rise in foreign exchange rates in Turkey, platforms that price in TL frequently raise their prices, while some platforms have started to transact directly in dollars. Epic Games is among the platforms that transact in TL and continues to increase its prices frequently.

With the latest hikes, the prices of games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, EA Sports FC 24, The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and Dying Light have increased significantly. In particular, the price of Dying Light Enhanced Edition rose from 59 TL to 591 TL, reaching a price increase rate of up to 1000%. With these latest hikes, the prices of many games have multiplied.

Prices on Epic Games appear to be more affordable when compared to prices on Steam. However, as the dollar exchange rate rises, the price gap between the two platforms is widening. In this situation, it is expected that Epic Games will close the gap by increasing prices over time.
