PS5 update is coming: DualSense is being improved, screen sharing is becoming more fun!
Sony is working on a new update for PlayStation 5 and plans to introduce significant improvements to the DualSense controller and screen sharing with this update.
Some details have been shared regarding Sony's update, which is currently in the beta process and will be released in the coming months. The update that Sony plans to offer for PlayStation 5 will provide improvements to the speaker and audio system on the DualSense controller. It will ensure that in-game sounds and voice chats are heard more clearly. Additionally, it was stated that the microphone input quality on the controller has been improved thanks to a new AI machine learning model. In this way, background noise and game audio that occur when buttons are pressed will be suppressed, offering a better voice chat experience.
Improvements will also be made to the screen sharing system. This will allow players to interact using pins or emojis while watching the shared screen in full screen.
Furthermore, users will be able to adjust the light/brightness settings from the settings menu. Three options will be offered in these settings: dim, medium, and bright.
The innovations will first be offered to beta testers. According to information in the PlayStation Blog post, the beta version containing the new features will be offered to selected participants in the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. Selected beta participants will be sent an email and will be able to try out the new features.
