Samsung Galaxy S20 series update support has ended

Samsung officially released the long-awaited One UI 7 update as of yesterday. This major update is available for the S21 series and subsequent devices. This also marks the official end of support for the Galaxy S20 series, which the company launched in 2020.

Launched 5 years ago, the Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra models were initially released with a 4-year software update commitment. However, last year, instead of cutting off support entirely, the company continued to provide the devices with quarterly security updates.

However, with the release of One UI 7, all software and security updates for the S20 series have come to an end. The final security update was provided in March 2025, and there will be no further updates for these devices.
