Samsung has introduced its first 5G modem with two-way satellite connectivity, which it has named the Exynos 5400.
According to information from Donanımhaber, the Exynos 5400 stands out as Samsung's first modem to feature NB-IoT NTN and NR NTN network support.

Two-way satellite connectivity that offers messaging capabilities even in places without cellular network coverage

The modem supports both mmWave and sub-6GHz 5G networks, utilizing 4×4 MIMO technology for sub-6GHz and 2×2 MIMO technology for mmWave 5G networks.
It can reach download speeds of up to 14.79 Gbps with NR dual connectivity support for FR1 and FR2 bandwidths. It is also the first modem capable of providing download speeds of up to 11.2 Gbps with 1,024 QAM in the FR1 frequency band alone.
The Exynos 5400 is manufactured using Samsung Foundry's 4nm EUV process, making it the most energy-efficient 5G modem.
