Scheduled message feature coming to Instagram! How to schedule a message?

Instagram has introduced a new feature that offers users the ability to set their messages in advance. From now on, users will be able to schedule their messages to be sent at their desired date and time.

This feature makes it much more practical to avoid forgetting to send messages before events or important occasions.

This innovation, announced by Meta, was previously in the testing phase and is now available to all users.

Currently, only text and emoji messages can be scheduled; media content such as photos, videos, and GIFs are not supported.

HOW TO SCHEDULE A MESSAGE ON INSTAGRAM?

To schedule your message, click on the chat icon in the top right corner of the Instagram app and select the person you want to message or start a new chat.

Afterward, you can switch to the scheduling screen by long-pressing the send button for the message you have written. From here, you can set the date and time, allowing you to plan your message up to 29 days in advance. This feature is available on both Android and iOS devices.

Instagram continues to add new features aimed at improving the user experience. Last year, an algorithm reset feature was introduced to help users highlight noteworthy content. Additionally, with improvements made to fix the “rug pulling” error, unexpected feed refreshes while watching videos were prevented.
