Google has begun updating the search bar in its mobile app with a new design. Aiming to simplify the user experience, the change adds a new plus button to the right side of the search field.
The new button is designed to provide faster access to different tools within the app. Through this menu, users will be able to access operations such as image uploading, camera, or file selection; they will also be able to switch between artificial intelligence-powered options.
With the update, buttons for features such as Search Live and Nano Banana are also presented with clearer labels. In particular, image generation and artificial intelligence modes have been made more visible on the search screen thanks to the new menu structure.
It is stated that Google is rolling out this change gradually worldwide. The revamped interface is expected to reach a wider user base in the coming days.
Recently, the company has been making interface adjustments not only in its main search app but also in various other Google services such as Phone, Messages, and app settings, aiming to create a more consistent design language.
