Spotify begins offering online courses in the UK
Spotify has begun testing a new feature in the United Kingdom that offers video-based educational content to its users. With this feature, users will be able to access online courses in addition to music, podcasts, and audiobook categories.
With the new feature that has begun testing in the United Kingdom, Spotify has started offering video-based educational content to its users across various categories.
According to a report by Webtekno, the test includes selected courses from platforms such as BBC Maestro, Skillshare, Thinkific, and PlayVirtuoso, which have been added to Spotify's mobile and desktop versions. The courses cover categories such as music production, creativity, business, and lifestyle.
Free and premium members will be able to watch the first two lessons of each course for free. To access further content, they will need to purchase a subscription via the website.
This new feature from Spotify will allow educational content creators to reach wider audiences and, thanks to user data on the platform, deliver their content to target audiences more quickly.
There is currently no information regarding whether the feature will be made available in Turkey.
