App researchers discovered a few days ago, while examining the code of the Google app, that the term Gemini had begun to be used in place of Bard. Additionally, information regarding the name Gemini was found in the code for the service's web application and website. However, there is currently no information on when the transition process will be completed and when the name Bard will become a thing of the past.

Although Google has not made a detailed statement regarding the name change, it is understood that this decision was made to provide more integrity, moving away from a brand that generally gives specific names to every service. Unlike separate designations such as Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Assistant, Google's strategy of gathering its AI services under a single name aims to offer a more consistent experience for users.
