Technopat parts ways with founding member

Technopat, one of Turkey's leading technology websites, made an important announcement moments ago. In a post shared on social media, the platform announced that it has parted ways with Recep Baltaş, one of its founders who also served as Editor-in-Chief.

In the statement made by Technopat, the 'political' posts made by Baltaş on social media were cited as the reason.

Technopat's statement is as follows:

"To the public;

We would like to announce to the public that we have experienced an administrative separation at Technopat.net, which has been publishing technology content for 12 years and has not deviated from this area of expertise.

We have decided to part ways with Mr. Recep Baltaş, who worked as our Editor-in-Chief, because some of his political posts on social media reached a point of harming our institution. Technopat's editorial policy has not been, and will not be, associated with any political or ideological person, institution, or group, today or tomorrow.

We will continue to convey the situations and new developments in the technology sector, our area of expertise, to our readers and followers in the most accurate and easily understandable way, and continue to contribute to our sector as we have done so far. In this process, we apologize without any ifs or buts to anyone we may have upset, hurt, or whose conscience we may have wounded, even though we had no such intention as company employees or as an institution."
