The YouTube channel PhoneBuff ranks smartphones based on their battery performance. An interesting result emerged in their latest battery tests.
While it was previously known that iPhone battery performance was not particularly strong, improvements in Apple's performance have been observed in models released in recent years. In previous tests, the PhoneBuff channel had seen the best battery performance in the iPhone 13 Pro Max model.
However, according to the newly released battery tests, the OnePlus 12 model surpassed the iPhone with a usage time of 28 hours and 9 minutes. Of course, a 3-minute difference is not significant, but for the first time in a long while, the phone with the best battery performance is an Android device.
The phones that the YouTube channel reports as having the best battery usage times are as follows:
OnePlus 12 - 28 hours 9 minutes
iPhone 13 Pro Max - 28 hours 6 minutes
iPhone 15 Pro Max - 27 hours 45 minutes
iPhone 14 Pro Max - 27 hours 44 minutes
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra - 27 hours 43 minutes
iPhone 14 Plus - 27 hours 38 minutes
iPhone 15 Plus - 27 hours 35 minutes
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra (60 Hz) - 27 hours 35 minutes
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra - 27 hours 6 minutes
iPhone 11 Pro Max - 27 hours 5 minutes
