The country with the world's fastest internet has been revealed: Where does Turkey rank?
According to the report by Speedtest by Ookla, Turkey ranked 111th in fixed broadband speed. It was noted that Singapore has the fastest internet, while Cuba has the slowest.
Speedtest by Ookla, which is widely used for calculating internet speed, has published its report on countries' mobile and fixed broadband speeds for May.
WE ARE 68TH IN MOBILE AND 111TH IN FIXED INTERNET
Turkey's average fixed internet speed was 44.21, average fixed upload speed was 13.54; mobile internet speed was 40.77 Mbps, and average mobile upload speed was 14.38 Mbps. Turkey ranked 68th out of 147 countries in mobile speed and 111th out of 181 countries in fixed internet speed.
Worldwide, the average mobile internet download speed was determined to be 52.48 Mbps, and the average fixed internet download speed was 93.67 Mbps. Turkey remained below the global average in both mobile and fixed internet speeds.
WHICH COUNTRY HAS THE FASTEST AND SLOWEST INTERNET?
The fastest country for fixed internet usage was Singapore with 289.98 Mbps. Singapore was followed by Hong Kong with 282.48 Mbps and Chile with 274.46 Mbps. The lowest speed for both mobile and fixed internet was in Cuba.
