The most popular mobile operating systems have been revealed!
The most popular mobile operating systems have been officially announced. HarmonyOS, which has been rising rapidly recently, has drawn attention in this list.
Research firm Counterpoint Research has announced the most popular mobile operating systems. According to new data, Huawei's HarmonyOS continues to rise in the Chinese market, surpassing iOS. On the other hand, while Android maintains its global leadership, it continues to lose users in some regions.

THE MOST POPULAR MOBILE OPERATING SYSTEMS HAVE EMERGED
According to the research, the adoption rate of HarmonyOS is increasing rapidly. While its share in the Chinese market was around 8% in the first quarter of 2023, this rate rose to 17% in the last quarter of 2024. During the same period, iOS's market share fell to 16%, while Android still maintains its leadership.
Furthermore, it is emphasized that the incentives provided by the Chinese government to domestic manufacturers and Huawei's efforts to localize its supply chain play an important role in the rise of HarmonyOS. Experts point out that if this trend continues, HarmonyOS's market share will increase even further by 2025.

While HarmonyOS's global market share remains stable at 4%, the competition between Android and iOS continues. In the last quarter of 2024, Android's global usage rate fell to 74%, while iOS's market share rose to 22%.
Although Android is still the largest mobile operating system, it has experienced significant market losses, especially in major markets such as the US and India.
