While there is no truly verified aspect to these reports, a video recently shared by a YouTuber has revived the dream of a 'touchscreen iMac'.

A company called Elo equipped iMacs with a touchscreen that actually looked good for that time.
YouTuber Michael MJD found a touchscreen iMac G3 and tested it. He reports that this 1999 touchscreen iMac works well.
The Elo brand, which sold them as kiosk machines at the time, produced and sold these iMacs with this touch control system, which uses sound waves, in limited numbers.
