'Unidentified mysterious object' detected in the Milky Way

Scientists have discovered a mysterious object in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy that does not fit the criteria of anything else in the galaxy.

The team found that the object emits microwaves. This indicates that the object is emitting dust and fast-moving gas from a very small area in the heart of our galaxy.

According to the report on NTV; astronomers evaluated various options regarding what the object could be, ranging from a black hole to a collapsing cloud and an evolved star.

However, it was determined that the characteristics of this object "do not quite match any known type of astronomical object."

Researchers estimate that the most plausible explanation could be an intermediate-mass black hole or the merger of a binary star system obscured by dust. However, the object does not fully fit either definition.

The team concluded in the study that the discovered object is currently "unique in terms of observation."
