Apple is planning a major change in the launch of its iPhone models. The new strategy envisions releasing devices at different times.
Apple has maintained the tradition of introducing its iPhone models at the same time for years. However, new forecasts suggest that this situation may change. The company plans to introduce its iPhone series at different times of the year starting in 2025. For example, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Slim, and iPhone 17 models will be introduced in the second half of this year. The iPhone 17e model is expected to be released in the first half of 2026.
NEW LAUNCH SCHEDULE
According to claims by The Information, Apple may introduce the foldable screen iPhone 18 Pro Slim, iPhone 18 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro Max models in the second half of 2026. The iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e models are expected to hit the market in the first half of 2027. In the second half of the same year, the second-generation foldable iPhone is expected to be introduced alongside the iPhone 19 Slim, iPhone 19 Pro, and iPhone 19 Pro Max models.
These changes represent a significant transformation in Apple's product launch strategy and appear likely to affect the timing of consumer access to new devices.
