Xiaomi 14 to debut in the global market

Xiaomi's flagship model, the Xiaomi 14, was introduced in China in October of this year. The smartphone is expected to be introduced in global markets in the coming months. 

Coming as the successor to the Xiaomi 13, this model follows previous reports suggesting that Xiaomi might only offer the standard version to the international market, and now a new report has emerged regarding the launch timing of the Xiaomi 14.

Information regarding the global launch timing of the Xiaomi 14 indicates that this device will be introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) to be held in Barcelona, Spain, in 2024. This event is the largest technology fair that takes place in the last week of February every year.

According to the news on Teknolojioku.com, next year's MWC will be held from February 26 to February 29. Some brands can also make announcements one day before the start of MWC. Therefore, there is a possibility that the Xiaomi 14 will be introduced globally on February 25. The report also states that this flagship model could be launched simultaneously in India.

A COMPACT FLAGSHIP

The latest developments regarding the global release of the Xiaomi 14 show that the company may continue its tradition of announcing its flagships around MWC. The Xiaomi 13 series was also introduced at a pre-MWC event earlier this year. As for the India launch, the Xiaomi 14 has already received BIS certification.

The Xiaomi 14 is a compact flagship that draws attention with its boxy design, prominent square camera module on the back, metal middle frame, and IP68 certification. Its 1.5K 120Hz LTPO screen is offered with 3,000 nits of brightness.

The smartphone is equipped with three 50MP Leica-branded camera sensors with focal lengths of 23, 14, and 75mm. Internally, the Xiaomi 14 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and offers 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The 4,610mAh battery unit is supported by 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
