YouTube Music introduces new ad model for free users
YouTube Music has introduced a new ad format for its free users. With this change, static banner ads will replace album covers while listening to music.
YouTube Music has developed a new advertising strategy for users of its free version. Listeners will now encounter static banner ads on the 'Now Playing' screen instead of album covers while listening to music.
These ads appear between the song title and the album cover and carry a 'Sponsored' label. Additionally, the playback bar turns yellow, and users are deprived of the ability to fast-forward or skip tracks.
This new ad format increases variety in addition to the skippable video ads previously offered by YouTube Music. The change may be linked to the platform's new interface currently in the testing phase and is being experienced by a limited user base for now.
HOW MUCH ARE YOUTUBE PREMIUM PRICES?
In Turkey, YouTube Premium prices are set at 79.99 TL for individual subscriptions, 159.99 TL for the family plan, and 52.99 TL for the student plan. The annual subscription fee is offered at 799.99 TL.
