Zoom launches on Vision Pro
Zoom is launching its Vision Pro app, which includes digital characters and 3D files.
Zoom has announced its visionOS app, which will be released on February 2. The new app brings capabilities such as "persona" support, allowing users to use a digital avatar during calls, and 3D features.
Thanks to the three-dimensional interface of the Vision Pro app, which includes digital characters and 3D files, users will be able to share 3D files on Zoom and see objects in their environment come to life.
Zoom's dedicated app supports Persona, allowing meeting participants to see facial and hand movements. Zoom on Vision Pro will also utilize the headset's AR technology, so video calls will appear as a floating window, adapting to the user's physical space.
On Apple Vision Pro, Zoom is ideal for users who want to feel as if they are in the same room as their colleagues and clients without the need for additional physical equipment or setup.
