'12 Giant Men' defeat Serbia

The Turkish Men's National Basketball Team hosted Serbia in the 4th match of the FIBA 2027 World Cup European Qualifiers 1st Round Group C.

The first half of the match, played at the Turkcell Basketball Development Center, ended with the '12 Giant Men' leading 48-42.

The Crescent-Stars finished the 3rd period of the match with a 76-73 lead and entered the final quarter with a 13-point advantage.

In the match, which saw a highly exciting final period, Turkey managed to maintain its lead and left the court with a 94-86 victory, successfully achieving 4 wins in 4 games in the group.

The national team sits at the top of the group with 4 victories, while Serbia suffered its 2nd consecutive defeat in the group.

Tarık Biberovic was the top scorer of the match, delivering a performance of 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Turkish Men's National Basketball Team.

For the red-and-whites, Ömer Faruk Yurtseven with 17 points, Şehmus Hazer with 15 points, and Cedi Osman with 13 points were the standout performers.
