The Turkish Men's National Basketball Team defeated Lithuania 94-66 in their first match of the 2027 World Cup Qualifiers second round. Having won all 7 matches played in the qualifiers, the 12 Giant Men maintained their undefeated streak.
Starting the match played at the Turkcell Basketball Development Center quickly, Turkey finished the first quarter leading 27-13.
Maintaining their dominance in the second quarter, the national team headed to the locker room with a 55-34 advantage.
Widening the gap further in the third quarter, Turkey entered the final period with a 75-47 lead.
The national team won the match 94-66, starting the second round with a victory.
Having won all 6 of their matches in the first round of the qualifiers, Turkey extended their streak to 7 matches with the victory over Lithuania.
The 12 Giant Men will face Iceland in their second match of the second round on Monday, August 31.
