Real Madrid Wins 2024 FIFA Intercontinental Cup
Spanish side Real Madrid defeated Mexican club Pachuca 3-0 to claim the 2024 FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
In the FIFA Intercontinental Cup match, Real Madrid and Pachuca faced off at Lusail Stadium in Qatar. Madrid closed the first half with a 1-0 lead thanks to a goal by Mbappe in the 37th minute.
Continuing their effective play in the second half, the Spanish team secured a 3-0 victory with goals from Rodrygo in the 53rd minute and a penalty by Vinicius in the 84th minute, taking the trophy home.
Meanwhile, national player Arda Güler entered the game in the 88th minute, replacing Bellingham.
With this win, Güler has celebrated his 5th trophy with Real Madrid, including the Spanish Super Cup, La Liga, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and finally the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
