A record hard to break from 39-year-old Ronaldo: He has made history once again
Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo reached 900 career goals during the UEFA Nations League A Group 1 match against Croatia, becoming the first player in football history to achieve this feat.
Portugal and Croatia faced off at the Estadio da Luz in the UEFA Nations League A Group 1.
While Portugal emerged victorious from the match with a 2-1 score, Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo added another to his list of records.
Scoring his team's second goal in the 34th minute of the match, Ronaldo reached his 900th career goal, becoming the first player in football history to achieve this milestone.
Ronaldo, who currently plays for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, previously played for major European clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus after coming up through the Sporting CP youth academy.
