5 executives were detained: Statement from Konyaspor regarding the betting investigation!
Five individuals who have served in the current and previous administrations of TÜMOSAN Konyaspor have been detained as part of an illegal betting operation. The club announced that they are closely following the judicial process.
In an illegal betting operation that has captured public attention, several names from the TÜMOSAN Konyaspor community have been detained. Club spokesperson Cengiz Yönet stated that within the scope of the operation conducted in nine different cities, primarily Istanbul, one member of the current administration and four former executives were taken into custody.
Yönet used the following expressions in a written statement released on the club's social media accounts:
"We have learned that a total of 5 people, including 1 person from the current TÜMOSAN Konyaspor administration and 4 people who served in previous administrations, have been detained within the framework of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office under Law No. 6222. The judicial process in question is being followed closely and meticulously by our club, and developments will be shared with the public in line with the principle of transparency."
