Following the challenging series that will begin with Konyaspor on October 20, the Eagles will face two very difficult away games in succession. Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s students will face Lyon on Thursday, October 24, and Galatasaray on Sunday, October 28. For Beşiktaş, which is in 36th and last place in the UEFA Europa League, the Lyon test carries great importance.
ROTATION IS IMMINENT
The Galatasaray derby, to be played 4 days later, will also be decisive in the title race in terms of both points and morale. The Kasımpaşa and Malmö tests in the first week of November will also have a direct impact on the progress in both competitions. The grueling match schedule will end just before the international break against another strong opponent: Başakşehir. The Black and White technical staff will try to find the right rotation in the squad to get through this process without damage or with minimal damage.
