In the final part of the 3rd quarter of the match, tension flared between Real Madrid's Facundo Campazzo and Fenerbahçe's Nick Calathes.
During a Fenerbahçe fast break, Campazzo tripped Nick Calathes. The Argentine player then went over to Calathes, reacted by saying 'You flopped, get up,' and grabbed the yellow-navy player by his jersey.
Following this incident, Calathes became angry and walked toward Campazzo. Campazzo then threw himself to the ground.
