A revolutionary application in football! Blue Card...

A striking claim has been made regarding players who engage in simulation to deceive the referee or vehemently protest against the referee in football.

According to a report by the British newspaper The Telegraph, it is claimed that the "blue card" application in football will be introduced with an announcement to be made on Friday, February 9.

10-MINUTE PENALTY WILL BE GIVEN

The report stated that the blue card will be shown to players who engage in simulation to deceive the referee and to players who vehemently protest against the referee.

Accordingly, players who receive a blue card will be sent to the sidelines for 10 minutes.

'THEY ARE NOT AFRAID OF YELLOW CARDS'

IFAB CEO Lukas Brud, who had previously commented on the 10-minute penalty, had stated the following;

"Players are not afraid of receiving a yellow card when they protest against the referee or use inappropriate language. However, if they receive a penalty like being sent to the sidelines for 10 minutes of the match, they will take it seriously. As in basketball and rugby, only team captains should be able to communicate with the referee in football. It is very clear that this method works."
