In the 5th week of the UEFA Champions League, Liverpool hosted Real Madrid.
In the massive clash, Liverpool reached victory with goals from Mac Allister and Gakpo.
National star Arda Güler, who has not found enough playing time this season, started in the starting 11.
Playing in the starting 11 of a Champions League match for the first time, Arda remained on the pitch for 56 minutes. The national footballer later left his place to Lucas Vazquez. After the match, Ancelotti explained why he took Arda Güler out of the game and the point he finds lacking in the 19-year-old footballer.
'HE LACKS EXPERIENCE'
Ancelotti's words regarding Arda Güler are as follows:
"Arda Güler was good defensively, but he could have made more accurate choices. He has that quality. Arda is very young, he just lacks experience."
