Following the judicial investigation conducted into the Turkish Football Federation's Central Referee Committee (MHK), a formula for an interim management has come to the agenda to ensure the committee's operations continue.
After the detention of seven people, including MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu and both former and current members of the committee, it has been suggested that an interim appointment could be made to ensure the committee's work is not disrupted.
According to the report in Sporx, the name of MHK Elite Referee Director Anthony Taylor has come to the fore for this role. It was stated that Taylor is expected to be brought to the head of the committee temporarily, and that a three-person delegation is also planned to be formed to support him in management processes.
The claims regarding Taylor, who began his role as MHK Elite Referee Director in August, are currently based on the appointment expectations reflected in the press. It remains to be seen whether an official statement will be made by the TFF regarding the matter.
