Beşiktaş is hoping for the return of Vincent Aboubakar to find a solution to its goal-scoring problems. Having recovered from his injury, the Cameroonian player will feature in the match against Konyaspor for a Beşiktaş side that has scored only 2 goals in its last 5 league matches.
Beşiktaş, which has won only one of its last 5 matches in the Süper Lig (2 draws - 2 losses) and has scored only 2 goals in 450 minutes, aims to make a fresh start in Monday's match against Konyaspor.
While the black-and-white team aims to start a winning streak in front of its fans, Head Coach Fernando Santos is also turning to Vincent Aboubakar to solve the goal-scoring issue.
The Cameroonian forward, who has been unable to play since the Fenerbahçe derby on December 9 due to reasons such as injury, being excluded from the squad, and participating in the Africa Cup of Nations, is expected to take the field after exactly 72 days.
Aboubakar, who missed 12 matches in league and cup competitions and was pardoned upon the arrival of Santos, has worn the Beşiktaş jersey in 22 matches this season, contributing to his team's score with 11 goals and 3 assists.
