Accused of

Alanyaspor's South Korean forward Hwang Ui-jo has received a suspended prison sentence for secretly filming a sexual partner without consent.

The court had previously requested a 4-year prison sentence for the 32-year-old footballer, and Hwang Ui-jo appeared before the judge again.

According to a report by L'Equipe, the court handed down a suspended sentence after Hwang Ui-jo admitted to the crime and expressed remorse. Additionally, the fact that the videos were published without Hwang Ui-jo's consent was considered in the footballer's favor, influencing the sentencing process.

3 YEARS IN PRISON FOR SISTER-IN-LAW

The South Korean footballer's sister-in-law, who held onto Hwang Ui-jo's videos for revenge and published them, had been sentenced to three years in prison for blackmail.

Following the revelation of the incident last November, Hwang Ui-jo was temporarily suspended from the South Korean national team.
