Adana Demirspor walked off the pitch: First statement from the Fenerbahçe camp
Fenerbahçe executive Hulusi Belgü made a statement following Adana Demirspor's withdrawal from the match.
In the 22nd week of the Süper Lig, league leaders Galatasaray hosted the bottom-placed Adana Demirspor. The yellow-reds took a 1-0 lead in the match with a penalty goal scored by Spanish striker Alvaro Morata.
In the 30th minute of the match, Adana Demirspor players walked off the pitch.
Following the match, Fenerbahçe executive Hulusi Belgü made the following statement on his social media account:
"If you think they will feel shame, you are mistaken! The immoral, brazen, and shameless have been shamelessly polluting Turkish sports for 40 years! Now you can rejoice because you won!"
