Agreement reached with beIN Sports: Super Lig's European ranking in broadcasting revenue has changed

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has concluded the broadcasting tender held with Saran Medya and beIN Sports.

While Saran Medya did not submit a bid in the final tender, the broadcaster of the Super Lig once again became the Qatari-owned beIN Sports. According to the agreement, beIN Sports will pay 168 million Euros for the broadcasting rights.

Following the agreement, the TFF announced that the Super Lig has entered the ranks of the leagues with the highest broadcasting revenue in Europe.

While this amount has changed the Super Lig's position among European leagues, the Super Lig, which entered the rankings after the 5 major leagues, has surpassed the Portuguese Primeira, Dutch Eredivisie, and Belgian Jupiler Pro leagues.

The leagues with the highest annual TV broadcasting revenue are as follows:

1- English Premier League: 1 billion 900 million Euros

2- German Bundesliga: 1.08 billion Euros

3- Spanish La Liga: 990 million Euros

4- Italian Serie A: 840 million Euros

5- French Ligue 1: 582 million Euros

6- Turkish Super Lig: 168 million Euros

7- Portuguese Primeira: 160 million Euros

8- Dutch Eredivisie: 150 million Euros

9- Belgian Jupiler Pro: 103 million Euros

10- Scottish Premiership: 29 million Euros
