Ahmet Nur Çebi's response to Hasan Arat: Arrogance, lies, and perception management

Former Beşiktaş President Ahmet Nur Çebi made statements regarding the allegations made by President Hasan Arat. Çebi responded to the claims that were brought up during the Black and White team's 2024 1st Ordinary Advisory Board meeting.

"ARROGANCE, LIES, AND PERCEPTION MANAGEMENT"

Speaking exclusively to Milliyet newspaper columnist Attila Gökçe, Çebi responded to President Hasan Arat's words at the Advisory Board meeting held on Saturday, where he said, "They have seized Beşiktaş," as follows:

"It is all arrogance, lies, and a perception operation... I reject the allegations of 'seizing' the club. No one can seize Beşiktaş."

"THEY ARE MISLEADING THE COMMUNITY"

"This is a 'look at the bird' operation. They point to the bird above while doing different things below. They are misleading the community. Let me give the simplest example: They discounted Passolig and sponsorship revenues. They are bringing the truth to the agenda with different and false allegations. The textile workshop claim is false. They were not tenants of ours. We only showed them a place in the facility by making a service contract. The kids worked with good intentions and completed the job. The Beşiktaş table is open to everyone who comes to that facility and has business there. Such human matters should not have been a reason for criticism."

Regarding the allegations that the membrane covering the roof is of poor quality, Çebi said:

"The quality of that material should be asked to the president of the term before me, Fikret Orman. I reported the quality allegations to the president of that day during the construction."
