Alexander Blessin: There is pressure on Fenerbahçe

Fenerbahçe will be the guest of Belgium's Union Saint-Gilloise in the first leg of the Europa Conference League Round of 16.

Speaking at the press conference held at the RSC Anderlecht Stadium, where the match will take place, the German manager stated that Fenerbahçe is one of the most important teams in the competition.

Stating that they are facing a serious opponent, Blessin noted the following:

"When it comes to Fenerbahçe, I have to stand with respect before them. They are one of the most important teams. We will have a serious opponent in front of us tomorrow, but the important question is; how seriously are they taking the Conference League? I mean, they are currently 2 points behind Galatasaray in the Turkish League. How much they prioritize tomorrow's match is important for us. There is serious pressure on them. There are very high-quality players in the squad. Which of these players will take the field tomorrow is also important. They usually play Batshuayi in the Conference League, but Dzeko could also start."
