Ali Çamdalı: We fought well against Fenerbahçe
Konyaspor manager Ali Çamdalı said that they put up a good fight against Fenerbahçe and earned a very valuable point after drawing 0-0 at home in the 35th week of the Süper Lig.
Süper Lig side Konyaspor's manager Ali Çamdalı made statements following their 0-0 draw at home against Fenerbahçe. In the post-match press conference, Çamdalı expressed that they were happy with the 1 point they earned on their home turf.
Thanking the fans for their support, Çamdalı said:
"I hope today will be a new beginning. It was a scene we have missed. We would have liked to send them home with 3 points, but unfortunately, it didn't happen. If we had a bit of luck on our side, perhaps the situation could have been different. No matter how much I thank my players, it wouldn't be enough. They actually gave signals in training that they would put up this kind of fight in such a match. Our staff and I tried to provide cues during the game, and they applied them on the pitch more than enough. We put up an incredible fight against Fenerbahçe and took a very valuable point. This is a start. We need more. Beyond the point, we gained good play, energy, and fighting spirit. The point was a bonus. Hopefully, we will carry this into the Samsunspor match and get what we want there as well."
