The sponsorship agreements signed between the companies owned by Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, who were arrested on charges of money laundering and tax evasion, and Fenerbahçe Sports Club, as well as the posts made by Tuzlaspor Club regarding Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Ali Koç, have become the center of attention due to money laundering debates.

A contract was signed on 21.07.2023 for the sponsorship of the back of the leggings for the women's volleyball team with the Dilan Polat brand. Subsequently, a contract was signed on 24.08.2023 for the sleeve sponsorship of the men's volleyball team jersey with the Engin Polat For Men brand. All negotiations were conducted through the companies' authorized agency. Additionally, there is an advertising contract for the Engin Polat For Men brand that allows for 1 minute of LED advertising per match at Ülker Stadium during the 2023/24 season, and a football skybox usage contract for the 2023/24 season for Dilan Polat.

Why were the advertisements of their companies displayed on the sidelines during the Hatayspor match despite the seizure of the Polats' assets? 

The contract was re-evaluated after the individuals were taken into custody, and a formal notice was sent on 3.11.2023, stating that the contract had been suspended and would remain so until any notification from administrative authorities. Subsequently, no advertising activity was carried out.

Tuzlaspor Club Honorary President Feyzi İlhanlı made allegations that Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç committed to a 30 percent share regarding the subsequent transfer of a footballer named Lamine Diack. What would you like to say?

This allegation is legally extremely baseless and also irrational. Fenerbahçe reached an agreement with Tuzlaspor regarding the transfer of Lamine Diack on 14.07.2022 and signed a contract. Within the scope of this contract, payment was made to Tuzlaspor. Therefore, the 30 percent share commitment from the subsequent sale mentioned by Tuzlaspor is not true. The contract was signed with a conditional transfer fee of 175 thousand Euros. The payment of this 175 thousand Euro fee by Fenerbahçe to Tuzlaspor is also conditional on the player transferring to another club. The player transferred to Ankaragücü. Since the transfer to another club took place, the solidarity contribution fee was deducted, and the remaining amount was paid to Tuzlaspor in full. If the 30 percent share commitment mentioned in the Tuzlaspor side's allegations were true, this situation would have been included in the contract signed between the two clubs. However, there is no such clause in the contract. 

How long after being acquired from Tuzlaspor was Lamine Diack sold to Ankaragücü, and how much did Ankaragücü pay for this transfer?

The contract with Tuzlaspor was made on July 14, 2022. The contract with Ankaragücü was made on July 25, 2022. Ankaragücü paid 350 thousand Euros for this transfer.

So, 11 days. Well, why was he bought and why was he sold?

Eyüpspor transferred Mehmet Umut Nayir, with whom they signed a 2+1 year contract, to Fenerbahçe and did not receive a fee. Was anything given in return?

It was decided that no fixed transfer fee would be paid in the contract signed between Fenerbahçe and Eyüpspor for the transfer of Umut Nayir. Instead, it was committed that 50 percent of the share from Nayir's sale from Fenerbahçe to another club would be given to Eyüpspor. Besides this, a right of first refusal was also granted to Eyüpspor. Examples of this and similar cases are encountered very often."
