Alvarez whistled at after returning to the pitch following 11-match absence
Fenerbahçe's Mexican midfielder Edson Alvarez was met with whistles from the stands as he returned to the pitch after an 11-match absence.
In the 32nd week of the Trendyol Super League, Fenerbahçe faced RAMS Başakşehir at home, with Edson Alvarez returning to the squad for the yellow-navies.
Alvarez, who underwent surgery following an injury in February, returned to the team after his treatment and was included in the squad for the first time in 11 league matches.
Making his 12th appearance in the yellow-navy jersey this season, Alvarez entered the game in the 90th minute of today's match.
The stands reacted to Alvarez, who replaced Fred.
For the remaining minutes, whistles rose from the stands every time he touched the ball.
