Amedspor's Murat Uçar explains decision not to attend celebrations
Amedspor's 34-year-old right-back Murat Uçar has explained why he did not attend the championship celebrations.
The experienced footballer, who played 35 matches in the Amed jersey this season, made a significant contribution to his team's path to the Super Lig by providing 10 assists.
Sharing a post on his Instagram account, Uçar explained why he did not attend the celebrations with the following words:

"I invited my family to the city to join in this beautiful joy, and we waited for the celebration for a week. However, I experienced some disappointments during our meetings throughout the week.
In the meetings we held, I encountered situations I had never experienced before. Being asked to pay for the jerseys that I wore for 35 matches and gifted to our fans, children, etc., and being asked to pay the costs arising from the appeal made to the federation due to a 2-match red card suspension; as someone who has played without missing a match on the field for 2 seasons, this has deeply saddened me.
The fact that I could not attend the celebration is not related to the fans, Amedspor itself, or any financial expectation. This is entirely a matter regarding my own stance against what has happened."
