Anadolu Efes defeated in tough away game
In a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague match, Anadolu Efes lost 100-90 away to Partizan.
In the 27th week of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Anadolu Efes was defeated 100-90 away by the Serbian representative Partizan Mozzart Bet.
With this result, the navy-and-white team suffered its 16th defeat in the competition, while Partizan secured its 13th victory.
The first period of the match, played at the Stark Arena in Belgrade, Serbia, ended with Anadolu Efes leading 20-17. Partizan Mozzart Bet recovered in the second quarter to head into the locker room with a 43-40 lead.
The home team finished the closely contested third period ahead 64-59. Extending the lead in the fourth and final quarter with an effective performance by Aleksa Avramovic, Partizan left the court with a 100-90 victory.
Avramovic, who was the top scorer of the match with 30 points, played a leading role in the win. For Anadolu Efes, Will Clyburn's 17 points were not enough to prevent the defeat.
