Sampdoria manager Andrea Pirlo made flash confessions to the Italian press.
In his statement, Pirlo said, "I never set limits for myself. I wanted to be one of the best, winning the World Cup and the Champions League. I always tried to improve. Talent is always developed through hard work."
Making confessions regarding Real Madrid, the Italian coach stated, "After the Calciopoli scandal, the future of Serie A was uncertain. I had reached an agreement with Real Madrid, but when the Milan management said the team would not be penalized due to these events, my agent reached an agreement with Milan again. Also, there was a possibility of Ibrahimovic coming to Milan. As a result, Ibra came to Milan and I stayed here."
Speaking about Barcelona as well, Pirlo said, "During the Gamper Trophy, Guardiola, who wanted me to transfer to Barcelona, called me to his office, but the transfer did not happen."
Andrea Pirlo served as manager at Fatih Karagümrük last season.
Having managed 17 matches at the helm of Sampdoria, Pirlo recorded 6 wins, 3 draws, and 8 losses.
