Angelino's fate at Galatasaray has been decided

Following negotiations that have been ongoing for some time, Galatasaray could not reach an agreement with Leipzig to remove the purchase option for Angelino.

The Yellow-Reds faced a negative outcome in their talks with the German club regarding Angelino, whom they had loaned for one year at the start of the season with a 6 million euro purchase option.

Galatasaray had been striving to remove the purchase option, which would have been triggered if Angelino played in 20 matches by the end of the season.

According to a report in Bild, Leipzig rejected this request, stating that they wanted to remain committed to the terms of Angelino's contract.

As a result of the decision made by Leipzig, the experienced footballer is not expected to find more opportunities to play in a Galatasaray jersey for the remainder of the season. Angelino, who has appeared in 19 matches for Galatasaray this season, has contributed with 1 goal and 1 assist.
